The lifestyle has evolved during this century new illnesses related to work stress and unemployment, one of them took the name of Burn Out or syndrome Thomas.
It is a state of physical exhaustion, emotional and mental, caused by engaging in emotionally demanding situations, for a long time.
Tomas syndrome is named after the character in the novel "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" by Czech director Kundera, where the protagonist, "Thomas" was a man who had lost their self-esteem, attitude evinced discouragement, boredom in daily work and no expectations of improvement.
